World Tennis is the trading name the International Tennis Federation took in 2026; it runs the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup. The 2026 ATP and WTA seasons were still in progress on 26 October 2026, with tour events still being played (the ATP lists its Basel week, for example). No year-end No. 1 is named on this page.
United Cup 2026: finished
The mixed team event that opens the season was won by Poland, led by Hubert Hurkacz and Iga Swiatek. Tennis Australia, in its report of 5 February 2026, says it was Poland's first United Cup title after losing in an earlier final. The score of the 2026 final was not part of the research.
Billie Jean King Cup Finals 2026: finished
Result. Czechia beat Ukraine in the final, and World Tennis's own Billie Jean King Cup site calls it Czechia's 12th title.
The final rubbers. The WTA's report of 27 September 2026 gives the final as a 2-0 win on Sunday in Shenzhen: Karolina Muchova beat Anhelina Kalinina 6-2 6-3, and Linda Noskova beat Elina Svitolina 6-3 7-6(5). The WTA says it was Czechia's first title since 2018, under captain Barbora Strycova, and Ukraine's first final.
Dates and venue, unconfirmed. The WTA's report places the final in Shenzhen but gives no dates for the Finals. Search summaries of the event's own guide and a sports-results site give 22 to 27 September 2026 at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, with eight nations: seven winners of qualifying ties plus China as host. The official guide itself was not read.
WTA Finals 2026: upcoming
Where it will be played, two WTA statements.
- In 2024 the WTA announced Riyadh as host of the WTA Finals for 2024, 2025 and 2026.
- The WTA's page of 1 July 2026 places the 2026 edition at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, California, from 8 to 15 November 2026, and calls it the first time the WTA season will end there.
The later statement is the WTA's most recent word on the venue. Why the event moved was not read for this research: the WTA links to a joint statement with the Saudi Tennis Federation, but its text was not seen.
The field. On 19 October 2026 the WTA gave the eight singles players as Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka, Mirra Andreeva, Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Elina Svitolina, Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova. The doubles field was not part of the research.
Nitto ATP Finals 2026: upcoming
The ATP's season final is set for 15 to 22 November 2026 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, its sixth edition there. On 16 July 2026 the ATP and the Italian tennis federation (FITP) said the event will stay in Turin through 2027 and in Italy through 2030.
Who has qualified so far. On 26 October 2026 the ATP listed Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz and Ben Shelton as qualified in singles. It said Jannik Sinner has ended his season because of injury and is out for the rest of 2026, and that the field should be complete in about two weeks. An ATP article seen only in a search result reports Granollers and Zeballos (for a seventh year in a row), Heliovaara and Patten, and Harrison and Skupski among the doubles teams qualified; that is unconfirmed.
Davis Cup Final 8 2026: upcoming
The Davis Cup finishes in Bologna, Italy, from 24 to 29 November 2026. The details below come from a World Tennis media release of 24 September 2026, read as reprinted by a tennis news site, because the Davis Cup's own site could not be reached.
